Love Songs will be making a trip down to LA this coming weekend to play two shows. One Friday night and one Saturday night, then driving back up to the Bay Area to play at Gilman St. on Sunday. your flights, and, dude, buy some new razors, a truly historic day looms
on the horizon. International Porn Star Nuts Day will celebrate its tenth
year this coming November 15th. That means the tradition of shaving one's
nuts is almost old enough to have reached puberty and started shaving its
own nuts already.
Dedicated observers of the holiday may even now be shrinking in anticipation of sudden, unexpected cold breezes, awkwardly unfamiliar movement while walking, and the overwhelming fear of humidity. Those preparing for their first lesson in the field of pubic maintenance, steady your hands - it's not as hard as it looks.
For the approaching date, we have gone to great lengths, bringing together people from near and far, to arrange an event of such unheard of awesomeness, as to justify an incredibly long list of superlatives. Joining us for the 2007 Balls of Fame Party will be local heroes, La Plebe, the amazing Argentinian human explosion, Boom Boom Kid, and from Boise, Idaho our brothers in sleaze, Manville.
We are also pleased to welcome to the stage as a special guest, Mr. Alan Genius Kasemeyer, supporting us in his capacity as overqualified master of the slap bass.
Many thanks are due to the Eagle Tavern, San Francisco's finest, gay-friendliest leather bar, for agreeing to host this balls-out celebration. It should be noted, this show is 21 and up, so be good kids and shave at home.
Finally, it will be quite a triumphant return for us, since, after a prolonged absence from playing live, we plan to bring for sale our forthcoming 45rpm single on Thrillhouse Records. Our pubes are quivering with excitement.

Jackson and Craig recently returned from a This Is My Fist tour. Jackson reports that he tried to take Seth back to California, but Annie would not accept his offer to trade Craig for Seth.

A sad day is coming upon us. As some of you already know, Seth is moving to Chicago next month where he will begin training for his life’s goal – that of being able to eat his weight in bacon-wrapped, deep-dish hot dog pizzas. We wish him the best and will miss him greatly. So where does that leave Love Songs? Honestly, we don’t know yet. Over the last few months we’ve become quite successful at avoiding the subject, but we do plan to keep playing in some fashion. If anyone has Jason Newsted’s phone number let us know, we think he should have first crack at filling Seth’s shoes. In the meantime there are only three more chances to see us with Seth "playing" bass:
